Source Priority
Information is checked in this order:
- official project READMEs, documentation and manifests;
- signed releases, tags and release notes;
- project issue trackers and maintainer statements;
- repeatable community testing for device-specific behavior;
- third-party articles only when they add useful context.
Primary sources are linked on the page where a claim matters. This is more useful to readers than displaying internal research codes beside every sentence.
Current Facts and Historical Records
Release versions, platform packages, mod compatibility and open issues can change quickly. Pages that depend on those facts link to the live GitHub record. Genuine release dates remain on release-history or status pages; decorative “last verified” labels are not used across the site.
Historical documentation can still explain why older instructions differ, but it should not override a newer official release record.
Compatibility and Issue Reports
An official package confirms that a file is published for a target. It does not guarantee support for every device, operating-system version or graphics driver.
Likewise, an open issue confirms that someone reported a problem. It does not prove universal impact or a confirmed diagnosis. Device, game, project version, mod version and settings should be stated whenever they affect the result.
Corrections and Page Ownership
Each detailed subject has one main page. Short mentions elsewhere link to that page instead of repeating the same explanation. This reduces contradictions when a release or compatibility detail changes.
The About page explains the website's scope, while the Disclaimer covers project and trademark boundaries.
